The Tsawwassen BIA was formed in January 1991 with the mandate to build and maintain a strong business community, and to promote the commercial district, so that our businesses thrive and prosper. The ‘uptown area’ of Tsawwassen along 56th Street and 12th Avenue is the heart of town; with over 250 businesses ranging from retail shops, award-winning restaurants & unique coffee shops, and a variety of professional services across our town – from Centennial Beach to Tsawwassen Springs; and from the Canada/US border up to Highway 17 in our southern-most community of Delta, BC.

Our members range from small retail owner-operated businesses to larger corporate entities and member breakdown is equal between the professional sector and retail/service sector. Now in its sixth 5-year term, the Tsawwassen BIA and its board of directors continue to focus on promotion & business development, and on creating economic opportunities for its members through many avenues including: marketing & advertising programs; commercial and municipal-owned area beautification and streetscaping; advocating & liaising with the Mayor, Delta Council, and tourist other business organizations; and by sponsoring many of the special events that bring people here and keep reminding us all of why we love this family-friendly community!
